This is where BW shines. Businesses buy from us because of the low maintenance and ease of use for customers. All benches can be removed easily, and the floor mat can be removed to allow for a thorough clean. We recommend washing down the interior cladding periodically and ventilating to keep everything dry after each use.

Our saunas are recommended with a wood stove for strong heat output. We also offer external battery units that can be integrated into the lighting system to ensure you can always turn the lights on when you need to.
Mobile saunas usually do not use a lot of electricity, since the heat source is typically wood or gas. Most models consume between 500 and 1,500 watts, similar to many household appliances, and are designed to be energy-efficient.

We don’t know your personal life, but we can say this. A lot of our customers treat their mobile saunas like backyard saunas that they can take camping, to their cabin, to relatives, or even just to a fireside lake spot. When they’re home, they keep it on a backyard slab and use it two to three times a week. Some even build it into a daily routine. It depends how much Finn you’ve got in you, I suppose.

Portable saunas or trailer saunas are as safe as any camper compared to a home. We only ask that you don’t sauna down the freeway.

A mobile sauna is a portable structure that meets the key characteristics and requirements of a traditional stationary sauna, but it does not require significant foundation work for installation.
But what does this actually mean for us? To us, a mobile sauna means no compromise. It isn’t a tent or a compromised trailer shack on wheels. It should deliver every bit of the high-quality, premium feel, with the added ability to take it wherever you go.

The strongest evidence on sauna duration comes from the KIHD study at the University of Eastern Finland. In a 2015 paper published in JAMA Internal Medicine, Dr. Jari Laukkanen and colleagues followed 2,315 middle-aged men for an average of 20.7 years and tracked their sauna habits alongside cardiovascular outcomes.

This is why 19 to 20 minutes shows up so often in the literature as a threshold worth crossing. It’s not arbitrary. It’s the duration where the heart is meaningfully challenged, sweating is robust, and the cellular heat-shock response is fully engaged. Heat tolerance is trainable. The right session length depends less on a universal rule and more on where you are in that adaptation process.
Beginner (first 4 weeks): Start with 5 to 10 minutes at a moderate temperature, around 140 to 170°F. Step out before you feel pushed. The goal is to teach your body to thermoregulate, not to maximize stress on day one.
Intermediate (4 to 12 weeks): Build to 10 to 15 minute sessions, 2 to 4 times per week. You can begin pushing toward the upper end of the temperature range.
Experienced (3 or more months of regular use): Aim for 15 to 20 minute sessions at 175 to 195°F. This is the range where the research shows the strongest cardiovascular benefit.
Advanced: Some experienced users extend to 30 minutes per session, but this should almost always be split into two shorter rounds with a cool-down between them, not a single continuous stretch.
