Mobile Space Configuration Options
The 6.5 x 12 layout is compact, efficient, and easy to tow, but still comfortable once you’re inside. Most people use this model as a full hot room for 3–5 people, with good heat circulation and fast warm-up times.
If you want a little extra organization, a changing area can be added to 12ft models. It’s a simple way to keep towels and personal items warm and out of the way.
Window Selection & Lighting
Windows are placed to bring in natural light without letting heat escape. You can adjust the size and placement depending on your view, privacy needs, or how open you want the space to feel.
All window options are built for sauna conditions and help minimize fogging. Interior LED lighting keeps the space evenly lit for both daytime and evening sessions.

Exterior & Interior Finish Options
The interior is finished with thermally modified wood, which holds up well to heat and moisture and stays stable over time. There are several wood options available depending on the look you’re after.
On the outside, the sauna comes standard with black metal siding for durability and low maintenance. Wood and alternate metal siding upgrades are available if you want a different style.

Mobile saunas go through a lot—heating up, cooling down, and living outdoors. That’s why every BW Sauna is built with proper insulation, ventilation, and materials that are meant for sauna use, not general construction. The result is consistent performance and fewer issues over the long term.

Simple, effortless from start to finish.
Step 01 · Conversation
You reach a person, not a form.
- First calls are led by Fitz. When you call the shop, you get one of two people: Fitz, or Jayson, our founder.
- We start with the questions that shape everything else: capacity, personal or commercial use, stove type, and mobile or stationary.
- We talk through your options at a high level and land on a direction that fits.
Step 02 · Design
Every line refined until it earns its place.
- It starts with a floor plan. Once the plan works, we move into materials and features.
- Features are the specifics: ADA access, a porthole window. Materials are the finishes, from a yakisugi or thermal pine exterior to clear-grade cedar inside.
- Standard models can be configured on the site. Custom builds get a design call and in-house 3D renderings, drawn by Jayson.
Step 03 · Build
Hand-crafted in Duluth. Built to hold up.
- Every sauna is hand-crafted in our Duluth shop.
- You get photo updates every single day. Even on days we are waiting on materials, you still hear from us.
- The difference is in what you cannot see: a multi-layer wall system, sealed so moisture never reaches the cavity, over a steel trailer frame.
Step 04 · Delivery
Set in place. Ready the moment we leave.
- We deliver and set the sauna in place. It is ready to use the moment we pull away.
- Support does not end at delivery. When you call, you reach Fitz or Jayson directly, not a call center.
- If something ever needs attention, we stand behind the build.

We like to think of mobile sauna as something you do. That spirit of adventure brings it to the most extreme of places bringing contrast elseware unfelt.
Questions you might be wondering?
YES! That’s the awesome part. Many other mobile saunas will have inferior insulation, and quality and generally feel like a compromised decision. Our’s simply don’t. They bring 100% the quality sauna experience you’ll find in any luxury getaway spa. Without all the people, scheduling and nonsense.

This is where BW shines. Businesses buy from us due to the low maintenance and ease of use for customers. All benches, can be removed easily, and the floor mat removed to allow for a good clean. We recommend washing down the interior cladding periodically and ventilating to keep everything dry after each use.

Our saunas come recommended with a wood stove for the heat output. We do offer external battery units to be integrated into the lighting systems to ensure you’re always able to turn the lights on when you need.
Mobile saunas usually do not use a lot of electricity with heat source being wood or gas. Most models consume between 500 to 1500 watts, similar to many household appliances, and are designed to be energy-efficient.

We don’t know your personal life. But, we can say this. A lot of our customers treat their mobile saunas as home backyard saunas they take when they go camping, to their cabin, relatives or even just to the fire side lake. When home, they keep it on a backyard slab and use it 2-3 times a week, or some bring it into their regular daily routine. Depends how much Fin you got in you I suppose.

Portable saunas or trailer saunas are as safe as any camper is to a home. We only ask you don’t go sauna down the freeway.

A mobile sauna is a portable structure that meets all the characteristics and requirements for traditional stationary saunas but does not require significant foundation work for its installation.
But what does this actually mean for us? To us, mobile sauna means no compromise. It isn’t a tent, or a compromised trailer shack on wheels. It should give every bit the high quality premium feel, just with the added ability to take that where you go.
