We are happy to share our experience with BW Sauna Co. and their exceptional custom sauna construction business. We took over a year researching, planning, and visiting companies to build our free standing custom sauna. No other company was able to offer a truly custom build at a reasonable price.

Before we selected a builder, we initially had our sauna designed by a well known Finnish sauna designer, who provided us with detailed plans and specifications. Jayson and his team were able to make those plans a reality. No other company was willing to do this for us.

From the initial consultation to the final inspection, Jayson displayed professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to delivering a top-quality product.

The consultation and planning process was thorough and collaborative. Jayson took the time to understand our specific needs and preferences. He was also able to use our Finnish designer’s 3D CAD drawings as a starting point. His attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requests ensured that the project got off to a great start and was exactly what we wanted. Jayson suggested and designed a fold-down table for our changing room. He also suggested a ventilation fan with a timer in the changing room for airing out the sauna when we are done using it.

During the construction, Jayson sent regular updates and pictures to show the progress. We were even able to make some last minute changes which he accommodated. They also were able to make the sauna according to our local electrical code for our city permit. While the sauna was being constructed, we came up to Duluth for a visit. Jayson had mocked up the benches and handrail heights for our approval. This was an example of his going out of the way to make us happy. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the sauna. It’s clear that they take immense pride in their work.

One aspect that truly stood out was his making custom shutters for the windows for privacy which has made a significant difference. It’s the little details like this that make a big impact.

Throughout the project, the communication and project management were excellent. We were kept informed of progress, and any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. The sauna was completed on time and within the agreed-upon budget.

The completed sauna was delivered on a flatbed truck and installed by Jayson and his team. The installation went very smoothly.

Since the sauna’s completion, it has not only met but exceeded our expectations. It is one of the best things we have ever bought and is a significant improvement in our lives. It’s not just a wonderful sauna, it’s also an aesthetically pleasing addition to our property, which blends in beautifully with our house and garage. We’ve received numerous compliments from neighbors and friends, and we’re proud to recommend BW Sauna Co to anyone considering a custom sauna.
